False Creek Trail (1860). Westminster Road. Kingsway (1913). Joseph Jones owned a milk ranch at this intersection in 1896. A stream ran through it. Pioneer Jones dreamed of pho broth rich in star anise, ginger, clove, cardamom, fennel seed and roast onion.

Hundred year old lane way home. Edge of Hicksville so named for the Hicks family who lived in a number of houses in the area. Near the banks of the old Brewery Creek  where it flowed off of Tea Swamp. Snow depth: 6cms.
