In Strathcona there are numerous other structures built around similar corner conditions.

Nested doorway with triangular vestibule at the corner of East Georgia and Heatley Sts. Built in 1901 the store was known for most of the century as BC Grocery Co.

Walk east for one block and face the south-east corner. This corner house was built in 1905 but the storefront addition was constructed in 1923 and named the Georgia Confectionery.
